Collecting your bike box

A collection time to suit can be arranged during the day, evening or weekend with collection points in North Leeds or Harrogate (easy access to the A1)

Can Yorkshire Bike Box Hire deliver?

We can deliver within Leeds, Bradford, York, Wetherby, Skipton, Otley and Ilkley for an additional fee, contact us for more information about this service. Prices from £7 (each way)

Will my bike fit?

All our bike boxes can accommodate road bikes including bikes with disc brakes, 29 inch mountain bike wheels, TT bikes with integrated seatposts.

​

Items to pack

Helmet, shoes, spare shoe cleats, least 2 large (750ml) water bottles, cycling socks, gloves, hand pump, saddle bag with spare tubes, oil, sunglasses, pedals and basic tools including pedal spanner, allen key set and chain tool.

If the airline damages the bike box

In the unlikely event of the bike box becoming damaged by the airline, you should report any damage at the airport before you leave and you'll get a form where you can claim back from the airline, otherwise your insurance should cover it.

​

Additional items

You will find there is plenty of room for shoes, helmet, bottles and even space for few days supply of clothing.

Holiday insurance

Make sure you are insured  in case of an accident while cycling abroad, the company YellowJersey.co.uk specialise in insurance for cyclists and if you use the code YORKSHIREBBH at payment you will receive a 10% discount.

Payment

The amount remaining to be paid after your deposit can be made on collection either cash or through PayPal.
